As we celebrate the holidays, and another huge milestone year, we want to share a look at what's coming next. After everything we've built together, 2026 is all about expansion, accessibility, and cementing HEAT Labs as the go-to source for everything World of Tanks: HEAT.
Our Vision for 2026
Our goal is clear: To establish HEAT Labs as the main hub for data, tools, insights, and community-driven resources for World of Tanks: HEAT players of all skill levels. Everything below is 100% free, optional to use, and aligned with our open, community-first philosophy.
Native Mobile Apps (Android & iOS)
After seeing how many of you actively use our PWA, we're taking the next step.
- HEAT Labs will launch as a native Android app on the Google Play Store
- Followed by an iOS app on the App Store
- Rollout plan: Android first, then iOS as we finalize our development approach
Desktop App Coming to Steam
To make HEAT Labs even easier to access, we're planning to release the HEAT Labs Desktop App on Steam.

- Steam release will make installation and updates effortless
Better Documentation & Open Data
Now that HEAT Labs runs fully on our own dedicated CDNs, we're doubling down on documentation.
Goals:
- Improved docs across all HEAT Labs branches
- Easier access to aggregated data
- Maintain our open-source stance
- Actively update details of our repositories
- Welcome contributors and creators who want to shape HEAT Labs, or just build something cool for themselves
HEAT Labs Discord App & Activities
You may have already noticed, HEAT Labs is now inside Discord.
Details:
- Our official Discord App brings HEAT Labs directly into any server
- Includes utility commands and Discord Activities with fun games
- Can be installed in any Discord server by clicking here.
In the future, our Discord App will also feature a Discord Store option, allowing users to support HEAT Labs directly. This will not paywall any content, it's purely an optional way for the community to help fund and sustain the project.
Optional Support in 2026
Next year, we'll finally open optional support options for the project, available through Ko-Fi, GitHub Sponsors, Steam and Buy Me a Coffee. Looking ahead to 2026, we also plan to launch our own merch store, featuring in-house designs and Signature Editions with HEAT Labs branding, another way for the community to show support while enjoying exclusive content. Contributions simply help cover infrastructure, development costs, and future improvements. HEAT Labs is a 100% free, open-source project, built and maintained by volunteers. Your support helps ensure it stays that way.

As HEAT Labs continues to grow, we still have two open spots for community members who want to contribute directly to the project. None of these plans have fixed dates. We continue to follow a self-directed work model, but we promise, everything listed here will happen in the next year.
