Strengths
The ALVT combines 640 alpha damage with a base 6-second reload. Thanks to the 'Rising Tempo' passive the reload time decreases as you land more damaging shots, boosting the already heavy damage output of the main gun.
Grenade Cluster and Dirty Substance are both powerful individually and even stronger when combined. Together they can reliably set enemies on fire and deal significant AOE damage. This also prevents the enemy from healing whilst under the effects of these abilities.
Grease is an excellent zoning tool that severely hampers enemy mobility and handling. This creates opportunities to control engagements and expose enemy flanks. Enemies stuck in your grease will find it hard to control the tank, opening them up to critical shots.
the ALVT has a respectable top speed and feels surprisingly agile once moving. It can reposition effectively and keep pressure on enemy vehicles allowing an opporunistic ALVT player to cause chaos from unexpected angles.
A wide selection of modifications allows the ALVT to excel in multiple roles. Players can tailor the vehicle toward damage, survivability, or team utility depending on preference.
Weaknesses
While the hull is heavily protected, the turret cheeks are a major vulnerability. Experienced opponents can consistently penetrate them when given the opportunity. Especially opponents with HEAT shells who can ammorack you frontally through this weakness
The side armour offers little protection and punishes poor positioning. Angling is generally ineffective and can expose easy penetration opportunities. Even Autocannons will find it easy to cripple an ALVT from the side.
The ALVT's strongest ability combinations require a significant energy investment. Players must constantly be calculating if they have the energy spare to make their combos work effectively, thus making ability cost reduction upgrades highly valuable.
Fast vehicles can exploit the ALVT's slow hull traverse and limited ability to react in extreme close quaters. Should an ALVT commander be caught unaware, it's likely the fight will be over before it starts.
Hull traverse is one of the ALVT's weakest characteristics as well as its low speed mobility. At low speeds or from a standstill it can struggle to react to fast-moving threats or build up the moment to run from an engagement. Plan ahead accordingly.

While it lacks the raw durability of heavier frontline vehicles, its ability to rapidly reposition and overwhelm isolated opponents makes it a constant threat across the battlefield. Underestimating an ALVT can quickly turn a manageable engagement into a chaotic collapse.
The ALVT's strength lies in its ability to dictate the pace of combat. Its mobility allows it to exploit gaps in enemy lines, flank exposed targets, and apply pressure where it is least expected. Combined with its disruptive capabilities and strong area damage potential, the ALVT excels at breaking apart small groups and punishing enemies who stray too far from support. Successful commanders are always looking for opportunities to isolate targets, create confusion, and maintain momentum.
However, ALVT players must remain mindful of their vulnerabilities. Despite its offensive strengths, the vehicle struggles in direct head-on confrontations against heavier opponents capable of absorbing punishment and returning fire. Its turret armour, particularly around the cheeks, is a significant weak point that experienced enemies will exploit. Becoming stationary, overextending into unsupported fights, or engaging heavily armoured targets on their terms can quickly turn the ALVT's greatest strengths into liabilities.
