Tank Summary
The AMX-10 RC is a fast wheeled marksman built around reconnaissance, mobility, and precision firepower. With exceptional spotting capabilities and immunity to immobilisation effects, it can quickly scout enemy positions, relocate across the battlefield, and remain effective where tracked vehicles might be immobilised. Its HEAT rounds deal a respectable 510 damage per shot and suffer no damage drop-off, allowing it to consistently threaten targets at any range.
Supporting its direct fire capabilities is an impressive suite of reconnaissance and indirect fire tools. The AMX-10 RC can deploy a recon drone to gather intelligence and spot targets beyond its own line of sight, while its non-line-of-sight missile system can engage up to three enemy vehicles at once. This combination makes it an extremely versatile vehicle, capable of contributing damage, spotting, and battlefield control simultaneously.
Despite its strengths, the AMX-10 RC remains a fragile platform. Its 2,300 hit point pool is among the lower values for its class, and while it does feature shielding around the front and sides of the vehicle, this protection is temporary and can be stripped away quickly under sustained fire. Commanders who rely too heavily on the shield often find themselves exposed, making careful positioning, scouting, and mobility essential to the vehicle's survival.
